Cleaning up Bronkies’ taxi rank is a team effort

A collaboration saw the taxi rank in Bronkhorstspruit get a clean-up last Friday as part of the City of Tshwane’s Re a Spana programme.

A team comprising activists, cleaners, the police, the TMPD, Gauteng Wardens, the Department of Road and Transport, waste management and Canyon Coal workers participated.

According to Region 7 head Jabu Mabona, the aim was to remove everything around that hub – criminals, drugs and dumped items polluting the stream next to the sewerage plant on Lanham Street.
